Canoe & Kayak Rentals

 Hours of operation:  Mon through Sat  10 AM to 5 PM  However, as I am a one man show, sometimes I may need to run and errand or deliver a canoe.  It is a good idea to call before you come.  Call twice, if both lines are busy...you may think we are not here!

If you want to rent a canoe or Kayak, give us a call. We offer rentals by the day or week. Because we rent ultra light canoes with portage yokes, many people rent for use in the BWCA. All canoe rentals include PFD's and paddles. All kayak rentals include PFD's, paddles, and any accessories needed, depending on your destination.

With any rental, the pick-up day is free. For longer rentals, every 7th day is free. Trailer rental may be available by special arrangement if you are renting a large number of canoes. Ask about pricing.

High performance (Kevlar) canoes are not for places with rocks. Persons renting these canoes are required to sign an agreement regarding the care of these canoes. We also rent Royalex canoes for rocky areas or rapids canoeing. All rentals require a Visa or MC number on file to reserve the rental and in case of extensive damage.

These canoes at these prices are in demand. We realize that plans change and emergencies happen. Cancellations must be called to us at least 1 day prior to the scheduled pick-up day or sooner if possible. If you reserve a canoe or kayak and do not call to cancel, your card will be charged for 50% of the rental price unless we are able to re-rent the boat. Please return the canoe or kayak when scheduled, someone may be waiting to pick it up the next day!
