2008 Canoe and Kayak rates
We rent by the day at Ketter Canoeing. Most customers take the canoes
and go to the Boundary Waters or Quetico. Most of our sea kayaks go to Lake
Superior. A smaller amount of both canoes and kayaks stay in the Twin
Cities area. Few, and I mean very, very few will stay right here in our
back yard.
The rental cost of canoe and sea kayaks is $40 per day. If you take it on a trip, e.g.
Boundary Waters or Lake Superior, we don't charge you for your pick up
day, and every 7th day is free.
If you do want to launch from my back yard for a shorter time, we will negotiate the fee.
All rental fees are subject to local sales tax as we have to pay for the covered dome over the river.
Group rates are based on the $40 per day rate, but delivery and/or trailer rental may be available if over 8 canoes or more are rented.
